Are the textures entirely C4D procedural noise shaders?
Yes - 100%. All the textures are built with the material editor. The procedural
shaders use NO EXTERNAL FILES OR BITMAPS.
Is there a difference between the 2D and 3D shaders?
Yes - The 2D 'noise' shaders found in the noise material tab such as Poxo, Wavy Turbulence,
etc, are '2D materials shaders' - and as such are mapped in 2D space. They respond to
different texture projection presets, ie: Cubic, Frontal, Spherical, etc. The 3D shaders map
the material in 3D space. This feature of the 3D shaders avoids issues that can occur
occasionally with the 2D shaders. Basically the advantage of 3D noise is that you
don’t have to worry about mapping or seams in the texture.
Can I adjust the shaders?

Yes - but make a back-up first! as you will loose the settings for each shader - they are not 'locked'.

How did you design the shaders?
Texturemaat has had to design and produce materials presets for commercial 3D work. Over the
years these shaders have saved an immense amount of time in the speed of the render and the
fact that they are built into the core of C4D.
Why are you releasing the shaders into the C4D community now?
We have had numerous requests for shaders of all types and designs over the years. Recently
Texturemaat has been aware that their is a very large gap in the design of professional shaders,
Especially procedurals. We are releasing these commercial shaders to fellow 3D artists
for a set 'Fee' per shader pack.
How many shaders are available?
Over 300 initial shaders at the moment. We have designed nearly 1000.
How about the future?
Texturemaat will be publishing more shader packs throughout the year - see the news section of this website.
Great! How about some Free Shaders for evaluation purposes?
No problem - just Download the example files on each on the shader pack pages.
